The tried-and-tested Mr. Kraken 2-component adhesive for PVC boats, SUPs, kayaks, surfboards etc. is extremely durable, strong, economical and long-lasting.
Application:
Before use, the adhesive should be brought to room temperature and mixed well. If the adhesive is used as a two-component adhesive, 5% hardener must be added. The adhesive must then be used within 8 hours. The surfaces to be bonded should first be roughened with fine-grained sandpaper and cleaned of dust. Then clean the surface thoroughly with a 3M VHB cleaning cloth. A thin layer of adhesive is applied to both surfaces, for example with a brush, and then heated to 50°C with a hair dryer. The two parts are then pressed together under pressure for around 15-25 seconds. Full strength is achieved after 48 hours.
