Note that Hypalon and PVC inflatables require different adhesives. If you are not sure what material your inflatable is made of, contact the manufacturer.

NOTE  – FOR HYPALON INFLATABLE BOATS ONLY
Bonding of the rubber pads or hold out arm pads

Preparation – carefully sand off the area to be bonded on the hose with sandpaper. This creates a slightly rubbed, matte surface for the adhesive to adhere to.

Glue and solvent cleaner
2990 2c adhesive for hypalon
P510 Cleaning and solvent for hypalon fabrics

NOTE  – FOR PVC BOATS ONLY

Preparation – DO NOT sand down PVC inflatable boats! The back of the rubber pads must be primed with a thin coat of Hypalon adhesive before proceeding with the PVC adhesive application instructions.
