This special PVC inflatable boat kit is great for installing Snap Davit inflatable boat mounts. It consists of cleaner, glue, instructions and disposable gloves.
ADECO Cleaner 264 is a cleaner and thinner in one product. It is used to clean the adhesive surfaces on inflatable boats before gluing rubber pads, handles or d-ring pads. ADECO Cleaner 264 is also used as a thinner for 2-component inflatable boat glue for PVC or vinyl inflatable boats.
The ADECO ADEGRIP PVC adhesive is a high-quality 2-component adhesive especially for inflatable boats made of PVC or vinyl. The marine adhesive is ideal for attaching pads or handles of snap davits for inflatable boats, for D-ring pads, for spacer pads or other pads on PVC inflatable dinghies.
Before gluing the pads to the inflatable boat skin, they should be cleaned with a special PVC cleaner (e.g. ADECO CLEANER 264). The surface on the inflatable boat should also be cleaned with the cleaner. Then add about 6 – 8% activator to the adhesive and mix it evenly. The mixture has a shelf life of up to 3 hours and must be processed within this time. The adhesive mixture is spread on both surfaces. Apply again after 20 minutes. 15 minutes, reactivate the adhesive with hot air, e.g. with a hair dryer or infrared lamp. The final shelf life is reached after about 72 hours.
